Yes, mixed-nationality teams are welcome.
There are no nationality restrictions for team composition. Teams may include both Korean and international participants.

Yes. All team members are required to attend the final round in person.
The final round will be conducted offline in Pohang. Details regarding accommodation and the full schedule will be provided to selected teams at a later stage.
The final presentation will be conducted as a team presentation.
While one or more representatives may deliver the presentation, all team members are required to attend in person.
The hackathon will proceed according to the following stages and schedule:
Stage 1: Initial Idea Submission (Document Screening)
· Application Period: March 16 (Mon) – March 20 (Fri)
Stage 2: Screening & Announcement of Finalists
· Evaluation Period: Second week of April
· Result Announcement: Third week of April (Selected teams will be notified individually)
Stage 3: Final Round (On-site Presentation & Final Evaluation)
· Date: July 8 (Wed) – July 10 (Fri)
· Venue: Lahan Hotel Pohang
Only teams that pass the initial idea screening will advance to the final round for the on-site presentation and final competition.
Below are examples of project directions aligned with the hackathon theme:
· Developing eco-friendly consumer products using discarded fishing nets
· Proposing a carbon-neutral marine tourism certification system
· Designing carbon-neutral marine experience programs in collaboration with fishing communities
· Suggesting preferential public procurement policies for low-carbon seafood products
※ Please note that these are only examples. Participants are encouraged to submit creative and feasible ideas that align with the overall theme and objectives.
Selected international participants may receive additional support benefits, including:
· One-way airfare (not round-trip)
· Airport limousine service upon arrival
· Domestic transportation related to the event
· Two (2) nights of accommodation
· A guided city tour of Pohang
Please note that airfare support covers one-way travel only.
All other expenses not explicitly covered by the organizers — including return airfare and personal expenses — must be borne by the participants.
